first friday

Alice is my friend from my previous school, and I have missed her so much the last couple of weeks. She called me last week to plan to get together, and I almost cried hearing from her. We were best buds and pretty inseparable each day, so it's been really hard adjusting socially to my new school without having her with me.

We met up at Remedy Diner for dinner, and Sandy and Greg and their son and girlfriend came as well. We were talking about things we hadn't done in life yet that we should have already done, such as skinny dipping and taking shots. Sandy had never taken a shot before, so we all headed to the bar next door and took some tequila shots. Then, we walked around downtown because it was First Friday. We enjoyed live music, some fire dancing, and galleries open later than usual.
