9 years old

Kaden turned nine years old last week. We were talking about doing our birthday interview, like we do each year {6 years old, 7 years old, 8 years old}, and I was telling him I'd have to come up with new questions when he got older. He seemed concerned about this, but agreed. Then I said that one day, he probably wouldn't want me to interview him on his birthday {you know, since he'd be too cool - one day}. This really concerned him, and he said, "you will if you love me." Well, then. He said he'd even let me do interviews when he was 26 years old, since we all know that's when you're ancient.

What is your favorite part of the school day? Recess

What is your favorite special? PE

What is your favorite food? Spaghetti and "eye balls" {these are really just mushroom-like "meat" balls that we had on Halloween, so he calls those "meat" balls eye balls}

What is your favorite color? Blue

What is your favorite animal? Cheetah, because it's the fastest animal

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go? Hollywood, because that's where all of the superstars live

What is your favorite book? The Bailey School Kid series

What is your favorite dessert? Ice cream, chocolate

What do you want to be when you grow up? Cop, so that I can protect the community

If you could have one wish, what would it be? To have a million bucks, so I could help people with what they need

What is your favorite thing you did last year? Went to Wet 'n Wild, especially the Dare Devil Drop

What do you want to learn next year? Quantum physics, because we need more learning about it {this is exactly how he said it}

Anything you'd like to be better at? Art, because I'm really bad at art
