Today was a teacher workday. It was the last one before our summer track-out and four glorious weeks off before starting another school year. I'm really quite excited about next year, since I have accepted a new position at my school. I am going to be the writing teacher for grades 3 through 5 {over the moon about this} and the testing coordinator for grades 3 through 8 {cautiously optimistic about this}.

This is a big change from being a 4th grade teacher. I won't have a homeroom. I was sort of freaking out today as I was organizing my new office. Oh, yes, I won't have a classroom. What? I don't know what to do with myself. Well, I went to Target to buy some new things for my new office. I did know to do that. So many big changes, but I'm looking forward to mixing it up a bit {and enjoying the heck out of the next four weeks}.
