We said goodbye to the beach before getting back on the ferry to go home. I hope Kayla felt loved this weekend, because Jason and I both love her so much. We are so proud of who she is growing up to be, and we were very lucky to be able to spend a weekend with her.   Jason pointed out that he had never seen Kayla smile so much as she did this weekend. We saw her experience such joy, and this is my favorite picture ever because it captures it. The wind on the ferry was blowing so hard, it blew our hair straight up. We are so excited for lots of beach day and pool day trips this summer.
