You know how you have certain friends for certain reasons? Each friend gives you something in a relationship - the one who makes you laugh, the one who is a good listener, the one who will tell you like it is. Well, Grace and her husband, Jon, are our foodie friends. Grace and I have been friends since middle school. She's one of my forever friends. We'll be friends when we are in the nursing home. But our relationship has also evolved to include our love of food. Jon went vegetarian last year {and lost 60 pounds!} and is a natural foods buyer. They are both amazing cooks who appreciate good food. And when we are with them, there will be good conversation and eating.
They are living in Asheville now, which happens to be my favorite place in North Carolina. So we decided to visit and eat all weekend. It was amazing, and I can't wait to update you, but for now, I'm going to roll myself to bed.
Ha! Ha! I've rolled myself to bed a few times after being with my foodie friends. ^_^ It's the best!!
ReplyDeleteI have foodie friends too and we eat sushi together;0. hehe! I rented the lens from Southeastern camera rentals in Raleigh off of Atlantic Blvd. Really reasonable to rent for a weekend!! Looovvvee that place! Thanks for the sweet comment friend!
