favorite vacation memory {try it, mom}

This picture was taken in the summer of 2008, a year before our first son was born. We were chaperoning 42 middle school students through 5 European countries, and Hubby and I took our only night off together in Paris. It was drizzling and VERY hot, but it was one of the most romantic nights of my life. We strolled the streets, ate amazing French food at an outdoor cafe, drank wine and danced in the dark on the lawn alongside the Eiffel Tower. Everything was sparkly, and glowing, and I just remember feeling so in love. I have this photo framed in our home and try to look at it whenever life gets hectic and love feels a little lost.
